Beautiful proportions. Love that carried-over 80’s boxy wedge, and minimal front fender-to-hood area.

I’d like to drop the J35Y engine in here.

Someone on my local bmw forum just bought one with 19,000kms on it. Looks seriously good.

But the F22 will run FOR.EV.ER.
Seriously, the F22 was the peak of Honda reliability.

My mom had a Rosewood Brown Metallic 1992 Sedan with the red velour interior. I loved that thing

Plus that gen of f22 has some crazy headflow so when boost is added they can make some big power (as long as the pistons don’t give out).

Yuss, I love that interior color.

That’s a beautiful color on old Accords.

One of the last few cars to look good even with black bumpers.

Yes, all of this, I completly agree.

As long as you don’t warp the head. The aluminum head/iron block combo was prone to this if not properly cared for.

The F22 also apparently offers some...cost-effective performance.

My uncle has one of these in sedan form. It’s that common grey/brownish color (too lazy to google name of color) with red velour interior. Then some assholes stole it. It had <100,000 miles. He had it since new. He got it back a few days before the insurance company was about to write the check to him though which was interesting. Needless to say he was quite cross that they couldn’t have waited a few more days to dump the car.

Right? It's one of the things that always drew me to them. My friend has a 3rd gen accord, but the front seats were replaced with those ones

Ok sorry, no. I’m gonna take my meds now and see if I change my mind latter.

CB7 Accords make my top 5 Honda list. They are so simple, yet classy. And low! I think I’d be happy with enough H22 swap to run somewhere in the 14s and call it a day for an NA daily driver.

4G Accord is best Accord. I had a light blue coupe with a manual. It remains the best car I’ve ever owned. I drove it to 235k before I broke it (overtorquing a rocker arm bolt and ruining the head). If I hadn’t I’d probably still be driving the thing today. I loved that car, and I’m always on the hunt for another.

Paired with a manual, mine was pretty quick in stock form.

It’s been said before, but: this is when Honda was Honda.

These are my very favorite Accords. My aunt had a ‘92 SE in deep green with a beige leather interior. Apart from the stupid motorized seat belts, it was fantastic to preschool age me. I’d love to find one, any of them really, with no rust/accident damage and decent mechanicals to restore.

It’d make a fine sleeper project as well.
